L4Life’s ‘Good Job Village’ for 2020

Monday, November 23 2020

Learning For Life continued to provide essential services to children with Autism and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this challenging and unprecedented year, our L4Life staff, children, families, Board and supporters worked and learned throughout. ‘Good Job Village’ is our end-of-year social campaign to say well done and share a big thank you to these L4Life Village members; it’s about being positive and showing our gratitude with an uplifting message of support for our Village.

2020, what a year! COVID-19 has brought restrictions, limitations and challenges, but we as an organisation are so thankful for:

  • All the remarkable work of all our L4Life team to keep delivering our services and everyone safe in the longest global lockdown.
  • How well our L4Life children and their families have managed with all the continual changes.
  • The ongoing support from our Village, donors, supporters and volunteers; staying engaged with our communications, donating funds and checking in on us.

There has been so much bravery, extra behind the scenes logistical work to allow our services to keep going, re-shuffling of our Events calendar, fun-raising community challenges, online resources to support our Village at home, and support from our loyal donors/volunteers (especially our Board members).

We asked our Village to share their messages of support and thanks to our clinical team, staff, L4Life kids and their families, and our Village supporters and donors. The messages are part of this beautiful celebration video, featuring a version of the song ‘Good Job’ (Alicia Keys), by Lindsay Field (from the John Farnham band), who is one of L4Life’s long-time ambassadors and supporters. Enjoy!
