Welcome to Victoria

As Learning for Life Autism Centre grows to service more families and schools across Victoria, our staffing and compliance requirements are also increasing. To support this growth, we have recently welcomed Victoria Crane, a former Learning for Life Board member, to the position of General Manager – Operations.

Victoria works closely with Pam Roy, CEO, and Mary Muirhead, Chair, and sits on Learning for Life’s Risk, Finance & Governance Sub Committee.  She is primarily responsible for ensuring best practice governance, compliance and policy review and implementation, and will be assuming the role of Secretary for the Board in the new year.

Victoria Crane Victoria is a practicing lawyer with a finance background, and is also a previous participant of the Observership Program (an Australian board mentoring program), of which Learning for Life will be participating in 2021 as we work towards strengthening the diversity of our Board. She is also the Treasurer, Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Subcommittee for Regional Arts Victoria, and is the current outgoing president of Alfred Nuttall Kindergarten.

Having formerly held roles with ANZ Institutional Bank and Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens Linklaters), Victoria is an experienced banking and legal professional. In addition to her finance, risk and legal skills, she brings experience and knowledge from her active involvement in the early education sector.

Victoria is a wonderful asset to our leadership team, has an eye for detail and is an innovative thinker, but most of all she has direct experience with Learning for Life’s early education programs and believes in equal access for all.
